It has taken a while but I have finally reached a stage in my life where I am 100% happy with being me. I used to wish I was keener, taller or a bit more of an extrovert, but there comes a point in life where you either accept and work on the talents God has given you or stay miserable and keep comparing yourself to others.
A lot has changed in this past year, and I just want to say thank you to all of you who have been there and supported me through my journey. The struggle to get here has been too real. One day I'll tell the full story but for now I just want to say THANK YOU!
Sometimes life gives situations and you are at the center of it all and have to make choices and decisions which are not always easy or smooth and unfortunately the decision you make ends up being a mistake. June is my birthday month and I'm starting to value the lessons my mistakes have taught me.We can all agree at some point that mistakes are okay,since they form the stepping stone of progress. Furthermore if you're not falling from time to time, you’re not learning. Most life stories have proved that winners don't just sit down and cry over lost chances but they take more risks, stumble, fall, and then get up and try again.
Staying positive, being your biggest supporter and appreciating that you are pushing yourself, learning, growing and improving significantly is very important. Achievements are almost invariably realized at the end of a long road of failures. Good thing to keep in mind is one of the 'mistakes' you fear might just be the link to your greatest achievements yet.
Don't let the nay Sayers or the mistakes of yesterday stop you from achieving everything your heart desires. The bottom is too crowded, and I'm definitely sure me and you don't belong there. If it means dropping persons that are a hindrance to your vision then do what you have to do.
I would love to hear more of your tips on staying the path of accomplishing goals.
