Who is excited to see all the happenings this Halloween like me? My favorite part about Halloween, is the costumes I get to see, and all the crazy, creative Halloween makeup and all outdoor decorations. They are always creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky especially from where I come from. Believe it or not, this is something we only got to see growing up in movies but now with the digital era and availability of internet connections we can actually experience it more virtually with our friends in different sides of the world, which is super cool. More people are open to participate in Halloween celebrations in my area as well.
In case you are wondering, Halloween also known as All Halloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve, is a celebration observed in many countries on 31st October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. Halloween is associated with elaborate costumes, haunted houses and, of course, candy, but it's also linked to a number of risks, like theft or vandalism. The word 'Halloween' was first popularized in a poem. “Hallow" or holy person which refers to the saints celebrated on All Saints' Day, which is November 1st. Basically, Halloween is just an old-fashioned way of saying "the night before All Saints' Day” also called Hallowmas or All Hallows' Day.
